Mine had a ship date of July 31st, I guess that mean it should be out inbound sometime after the 17th.

My SERG O/B had a "Build date" of 8/1/08  now the computer at my dealer has it as pending (long past the original build date) is this common with this bike? Did you get updates while you were waiting? When do you think it will come? My Road King is gone and I am without a ride

After seeing the bike in person & up-close, I have to agree that pictures cannot convey the amazing look of this bike. I believe this bike is going to look great in ALL of the colors this year. I have had many, many Harleys, but this is the best looking one I have ever had.
But, then I have not seen the new SE Springer yet, I am a sucker for the springers !! (Just sold my '08 Cross Bones)
Hope everyone enjoyed the delivery, I will post more pics when I get the bike home.

Very funny, well not really funny at all...

After seeing this one, I have started to become more patient about waiting.  It looks so sweet, yet bad @ss!!!!  From every angle too, fron to back, back to front, side to side, its the best looking bike the moco has thrown out there.

Just went up to the dealership, they gave me a new ship date of 08/22.  I feel better now, but still waiting impatiently.  I'll be on the left coast that week so maybe it will come in while I'm gone.  If I'm gone, they said they'll take pics for me.  I think I'll be back before it gets to the dealership though.  So, ship date is a week from tomorrow.

Flight was on time....Just walked in ....WOW, WOW, WOW did I say WOW ??
Man what a fun bike, this might just be the bike I have been looking for. In-Between a SE Road King and a SE Ultra but leaning more towards a sporty feeling.
Fast, light steering just more fun. I even enjoyed the short wind deflector and the bike feels solid on the road. You can feel the difference in the gearing on this bike vs the '08. Now, understand I have only put 125 miles on her, but you know how some bikes just make you feel like riding.....THIS IS THIS BIKE!!! Handlebars feel great also. I sit here wishing I was riding instead of writing this opinion. If you are even slightly interested in this bike I would recommend you get a deposit on one quick.

Are you riding the SERG there?  I'm jealous yet again!  My Dad is riding on his RG from Boston.  I wanted to go with him, but there's not place to meet up besides the rally itself.  Plus, mine will not be here until after the 105th, so I could take my mountain bike, just not as loud or cool as a SERG.  On that note, I think my Dad is going to sell his 05 RG with a 103" for a SERG.  I'll post in 3rd party sale when I found out for sure.  I think he's waiting on me to get the O/B before he pulls the trigger.

 My ship date was 7/28/08 and still no bike.  My dealer doesnt seem to know much, ship date has never changed and the letter says 3 weeks late, well depending on when they consider the 3 weeks mine is already 3 weeks from the original date.  Not to mention here in MO the weather has been just awesome for aug.  Would have been a great time to be riding.  So that doesn't help with my waiting

If the ship date was 7/28 and they are 3 weeks behind then it COULD have shipped on the 18th or 19th, then its about 4 days to the dealer depending on where you are. So, maybe you will get it Friday or Monday??

Yep, there seems to be a communication fubar.  The MoCo is being tight lipped letting out new dates...But there have been numerous sightings of Silver SERG's that corporate is showboating!  Could have filled a few orders with those.  They should have used the banana one's!!!!!  I should hear an update today on mine

I just went to pick up a loaner bike and I asked the service write up if any new bikes showed up today, the girl said she thought a Orange Road Glide showed up. I asked if I could see it, she said yes. Sure enough a O&B CVO Road Glide. Finally my bike showed up!!!!!!!!! I will confirm on Thursday but its here.

My dealer finally got an answer from the MoCo.  It was a vendor issue that caused a delay.  My Silver SERG was to ship 8/13 but will definately be here the 1st week of Sept.  SO 3 weeks is the number.  Congrats Sparky!!!!  I'd be at the front door first thing in AM.....

They're factory harley radios. Not bad, not great, just good. They'll last through Christmas and then It will be time to upgrade. Couldn't even hear them st speed when I still had only the factory windshield. Haven't plugged in the iPod yet but expect the direct connect cable in front to work just fine (better than the cig. lighter transmitter type). Snince you had that read beauty, did you use and iPod and if so where'd you keep it while riding? I was thinking of throwing mine in a fairing pocket.

Oh, and the radio does let you adjust for ambient noise. I keep mine set for CRANKED.

I actually used my Sirius Satellite radio utilizing the plug-in and hid the wires pretty well, had the radio placed with velcro assistance just below the idiot lights...worked well ...the new Harman Kardon's have got to blow away that ol' thing I had...can't wait to boogey to my favorite '80s music

(only because it's my 4th new bike purchase), and they would actually love to have it stay longer on the floor to attract more suckers customers...2 other local dealers are expecting Silver ones and they aren't spoken for yet - Whitt's in Manasas Va., and Waugh Enterprises in Orange Va....both m.s.r.p. shops

  My understanding is oct-dec is 2nd qtr, jan-mar is 3rd and apr-jun is 4th.  Usually no previous year bikes are delivered in Jul and then the dealer show around the 20th Jul and then by the end of that week deallers start getting the new model so Jul-Sept is considered 1st qtr.

I just put 700 kms on mine. WOW is bike is freakin awesome. I had a 97 FLSTF before so there have been a few upgrades since them. It's just too bad the season is over in these parts
