ok...this'll get ya, my dealer made a mistake when he told me my ship date was in September...we checked yesterday and surprised him to see 8/8 ..."musta been lookin' at another one" he says ...so now I'm the only one on Earth who actually hopes it's late - as I need another 2-3 weeks to get the rest of the dough...It's not easy selling children on ebay

actually...life is good - very good

so how are the tunes on that beauty, have you plugged in an ipod thingy yet...I recall my old one w/casette sounded much better if the plug-in was utilized with my Sirius...try a plug-in yet?

They're factory harley radios. Not bad, not great, just good. They'll last through Christmas and then It will be time to upgrade. Couldn't even hear them st speed when I still had only the factory windshield. Haven't plugged in the iPod yet but expect the direct connect cable in front to work just fine (better than the cig. lighter transmitter type). Snince you had that read beauty, did you use and iPod and if so where'd you keep it while riding? I was thinking of throwing mine in a fairing pocket.

Oh, and the radio does let you adjust for ambient noise. I keep mine set for CRANKED.

I actually used my Sirius Satellite radio utilizing the plug-in and hid the wires pretty well, had the radio placed with velcro assistance just below the idiot lights...worked well ...the new Harman Kardon's have got to blow away that ol' thing I had...can't wait to boogey to my favorite '80s music

now that is a real problem.  But I am here to help you out!  I will do you a favor and take this bike and you can take the next one to come in when you have all the dough!  Helping fellow bikers out is what this forum is all about.

wow...that's so nice, don't know what to say...wait, yes I do  FAT CHANCE!!! ...was that too strong? I will rob a bank if need be, actually my dealer guys are pretty cool, I'm gettin' below m.s.r.p. (only because it's my 4th new bike purchase), and they would actually love to have it stay longer on the floor to attract more suckers customers...2 other local dealers are expecting Silver ones and they aren't spoken for yet - Whitt's in Manasas Va., and Waugh Enterprises in Orange Va....both m.s.r.p. shops

Just went up to the dealership, they gave me a new ship date of 08/22.  I feel better now, but still waiting impatiently.  I'll be on the left coast that week so maybe it will come in while I'm gone.  If I'm gone, they said they'll take pics for me.  I think I'll be back before it gets to the dealership though.  So, ship date is a week from tomorrow.

I'm not sure. I'm on the west coast! Stopped by hd of la and was told they're not getting one until October/November! Good thing I don't live here!

I'm going to call my guy in the am and find out.

Oct starts the 2nd quarter.  My dealer gets 2 SERG's 1st quarter, 2 3rd quarter and 1 4th quarter.

I just cane in from the garage, getting the bike ready for the 105th run. CView Shield, seat, backrests, luggage rack (all detachable). I will post pics tomorrow

Yea, the dealer  "Tolerates" my insanity! (Actually, he gets wrapped-up in all the excitement also)

I've got 4800 miles on my SERG3, rode to the 105th and ride her every chance I get. I've had my share of bikes, but this one just makes me want to ride. Its CRAZY!!

It's great that the dealer shares in your excitement. My bike arrived today and the dude oveseeing the unloading was a jerk, really took away for the experience. I did get a few pics but I wish I took more.
