Installed the Hayden Tensioner, kinda by circumstance. Installed a new compensator about a month and 2000 miles ago. As I posted, the deal was fantastic and warranted it for me (including a clutch basket with my Barnett Scorpion cloth installed in it) even though I put in a 120r around 7500 miles ago. They have been more than fair (maybe even unfair to my advantage) with me since the beginning even though I went out of state to buy my bike. A couple of weeks ago I noticed a knocking sound coming from my primary at slow idol. My warranty runs out on April 24th so i took it in and they broke down the entire tranny (under warranty) and even tried putting another compensator and primary chain in it so that everything would be new. When they told me they were going to do that for me I told them to go ahead and install the Hayden partly because I was actually starting to feel like a mooch and thought I could at least give them some work that I would pay for plus was hoping that with all of that the knocking sound would go away.
Good news is though I really didn't have any complaints about the shifting or finding neutral, it definitely shifts even smoother now and is cool how it "clicks" into gears which makes me feel like I didn't just throw away money on a mod I wasn't looking to do. Bad news is at cold start up, it still has the "knock" though it will only do it for less then a couple of seconds and then goes away. I have only put a couple of hundred miles on since I got it back on Friday and it never did it after it was warm but I am hoping as the primary chain "breaks in" it doesn't start doing it like before.
Didn't mean to ramble, the Hayden is great...
