I'm about to do it in the next few weeks. I bought the special tools from Harley to do the swap. Hd-dude recommends cutting the stock pushrods so you don't have to take apart the rocker boxes. The tools I ordered were a cam install tool and a inner bearing remover / installer. Fueling recomended new inner Timken bearings which is why I got the special tools. I ordered my parts form a local dealer who got them from Drag Specialities, so I got a discount. I ordered the chain drive cams and the cam installation kit. Hd-dude also recommends lifters if there is over 5000 miles on the engine. I'll post again when I do the job. Hope that helps. I have a service manual which I'd recommend before you start.
Listen to Jim, he sold me all my parts for the CAM change and
good prices and good advise on getting it done properly too!
