Here is the Aux Lighting setup with the turn signals relocated:

What are the part number for the highway pegs on the Mustache Bar.  I like the swingout design...

Just picked up the aux lighting kit and ther needed ssociated parts. upon reading instructions, :o there is no info on how to get the headlight nacelle off and how to remove existing fork mounting bolts. Still waiting for repair/parts manal that is on order, guess I should have ordered it earlier. >:( Maybe someone that has already done this could explain the basics to me . :-[

Okay, I am ready to order the parts...  So far, this is what I beleive that I need:

(1) Custom Passing Lamp Bracket Kit - HD part # 69227-04A

(1) Auxillary Lamp Bulb Kit (pair) - HD part # 68348-05

(1) Hardware Kit - HD part # 69235-04

Is there anything else I need???

Does anyone know the Part Number for the trim/retainer rings that DoCPooF used?

Also is each light wired to each switch on the back of the nacelle?  What does the wiring process consist of, slicing, etc...

Whether you relocate the turn signals or not, the passing lamps just look great.  I thought that my bike looked a little naked before I added them.

Another pic

leoniru,
Great looking scoot and a great adder.
You may want to look at those bulbs though.  They look like my buddy with the lazy eye.  When he comes over I just never know where he's looking.  That or the gal that couldn't afford the "quality" implant job.   :-\

Looks good though.

SOOIEE;

You're oh so right --- that left light's bulb/reflector assembly is definitely off level. I knew it on assembly but it seems even more exaggerated on the pic than in real life, and guess what? The indexing marks are all where they belong! So it looks like I'll have to 'operate' to get it level. Another QC deficiency from the MoCo?

http://www.bikernet.com/roadkingreport/roadkingreportarch.asp?Article=122002

pop cover off of fork lock
remove screws from from riser cover
remove headlight trim ring
remove headlight
remove headlight ring
remove the trim piece that runs down the center of the nacelle

Well, I bought all of the parts last year and didn't install them.  Well, I am ready now :)

It doesn't appear that it is necessary to remove the nacelle, correct me if I am wrong...

How do you remove the lower studs without damaging them.  I presume you cannot, it looks like you will have to put a vise-grip on them and twist them out.

I also was able to track the connector housing and correct Delphi pins for a plug-n-pray operation.

Any additional assistance is appreciated.

Thanks!
