A friend just purchased an '08 Police Road King with the 103 motor.  Does anyone know if this is the same 103 that came in the '04-'05 CVO SEEGs?  He is not impressed with the power and I know the Zippers 575 cams helped a great deal with my '05 SEEG.  Wondering if the 575s would work for him as well.  Was hoping to help him out with some good info.

Chris,
Like you I'm running the 575's and if memory serves me correctly they were designed specifically for the heads(Screamin' Eagle)/pistons that came stock on our CVO 103ci motors. I'm not sure if the Police 103's have the same head (valves)/piston set up that came in the 04/05 CVO's. :nixweiss:

The Police 103" motors are nothing more than a 96" motor with a 3.875" bore.(big bore). ;)
The heads are the same as the standard 96" heads,except they have ACR's.
103" CVO heads are way different.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know.  Anyone know what a good cam choice would be to give it some more "get up and go"?

You may want to take a look at this thread - ?? Change Springs in Andrews 54H Install 2010 ULTRA Ltd. and send geezerglide a PM to see what he thinks of the build he just did on his LTD.

Still have yet to ride the bike it is in Phoenix, will be down in Mid December.
