Lucky,
You should be able to press right in the center of the lens to turn it on.  It does turn itself off after a few minutes.  It's identical to my third one on my SEEG, the first two kept running my battery down and the design was changed to the LED.

Hey Luckyrebel,
Don't forget the lid has to be open [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif].  Also, don't forget to try your cigarette lighter on the bottom part of the left side of the fairing.
