Hey  Joe Vibe, That's a nice set up you've got there. Where does the control/pump line hook up when it is retracted down into the floor?

When I cut out the floor I cut a slot towards my tool box to run the hydraulic line through. If you look at the first picture you'll see it now.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I definitely respect the opinions of the members of this site. It was quite a project but I'm really happy with results.

One tip (warning), cutting the old concrete and laying the new makes way more mess than you would think!

I was looking at the cuts you made, first thought was oh my God what a mess that must make.  Did you cut is dry or rent a wet saw.  Seems other than the slurry, a wet saw would be cleaner.

It was a wet saw. I actually hired a local concrete cutting company to do that part for me. They tried to wet vac the slurry up as best they could but there was still a mess. When they were plunging the blade into the cement there was a mix of dust and mud. The dust went everywhere. I had hung plastic from the floor up about six feet where they were working and the dust still worked its way around it. I blew most of the dust down with an air hose and then mopped the floor three or four times and got 99% of it cleaned up. If I were to do it again I would spend more time covering everything.

you can rent the saw. easy way to hold down the mess enclose the area to be cut with a plastic hut (bubble)and wear a mask while doing the cutting. tape a shop-vac hose thru the bubble.
