Looks like the Pool Boy was mostly right on some things.  CVOs with a 114 & 117 engine trim level. Some Softails with M8 motors.  Fewer Dyna models. Will be interesting to see what the 2018 anny paint is.   In person.  The pics will likely suck.

You're right. The pix always suck. I'll consider one if they have another SERGU (which I doubt) in a nice Annie paint set.

I'm hearing dyna and softail will share same chassis, at least as far as engine cradle, have different rear bolt on sub frames

If you look at data for last year, you will see the certifications for the 1746-(107), 1802-(110), and 1868-(114).  For the 2018 models, they list 1746-(107), 1868-(114) and 1923-(117).  Looks like they may have retired the 110 (about time) and added the 117 for the CVO bikes?

Keeping to my "CVO every 5 years" schedule, I will enjoy my current ride for another 4 1/2 years (quite happily I might add)

Being in Washington state I should have a pretty good view of the eclipse on Monday which should be pretty awesome, but my excitement level in anticipation of the new 2018 CVO's may eclipse that on Monday. :-) Here's hoping for awesome paint and a 117" motor in a Streetglide!!

I heard similar, that remaining Dynas are getting a Softail type frame.

Sadly, not a word.  Except here, where they would be very popular. Maybe Matt Levatich could take a contingent of HD execs to Scotland and Ireland, to   play golf & mess around & pub crawl on expense accounts  study various clan's plaid patterns and their application to future Harley saddles.  A plaid "clan" bike, considering recent developments would be a colossally bad idea, so the possibility of the "Harley Clan Plaid Bike Family" has definite possibilities. Figure they will be introduced about a year after the "gas tank integrated cup holder" models.

Those would count toward the 100's of new bikes they plan to release in the next 5 years.  If they play the plaid card correctly, they could hit that number in the first year.  Then the marketing department can spin it as an example of MoCo's innovative and forward thinking.  Thus justifying an increase in stock price and increasing "share holder value" and more importantly increase the value of MoCo's stock options the company execs hold.

Man they are smart!
