6-speed transmission

Has anyone had a six speed gear set or transmission installed?  Wondering how it performed after the modification. Thinking about having this done on my 03.

Give this thread a shot, lots of discussion on the HD and Baker 6 speeds.

I had the SE 6 speed installed on my 03 FXSTDSE. For what it's worth I noticed a lot more vibration throughout, even after shifting into 6. It was significant enough that I could not use the mirrors that came on the bike at high speeds after the "upgrade".

The loss of hp/tq when changing to a 6 speed was talked about in one of the threads Rjob749 posted. Here's dyno results of the same thing.

Although I haven't read the threads yet on the specific's, but if the primary gear was changed as well, essentually sync'ing where the 5th gears were, then there shouldn't be a drop on throughput you would think?

Yeah, I'd just go with a Baker and not mess with the noisy and rough MOCO 6 Spd.
