No Pete I went from the SEEGs stock front end to the Traxxion Dynamics upgrade.  Am going to give this Progressive option a try though.

The TD package is very good.  Very very good actually.  But if this Progressive Monotube kit is just very good for 800-1000 dollars less and it's something I can do here in the garage some cold Saturday rather than shipping parts all over the country it's worth giving a try.

Sorry Don, someone on this site did!  I agree, the progressive stuff is good enough for me.

The one winter project the old SERG is going to get is the front end done.  Bike is ten years old and I know the legs have never been touched.  So it's due.  Losing the damned leaky air suspension from 2000 will be a pleasure also.  Losing the dive and keeping the front wheel on the ground a bit more going down the road will all make it worthwhile some weekend (if it ever snows here which it isn't now unlike all the poor guys back east!).

I installed 440s and the monotubes on my 2010 UC about a week ago, and I am very pleased. I had previous good experience with 440s on other bikes, but had never upgraded the front forks on an H-D before. I chose this option over Bitubo & Traxxion  because it was less expensive and  I could get everything done locally.

The ride is much more stable with very little dive during hard braking. I also get much better front end feedback (a good thing in my book). I have don't any touring with this set up yet, but most of the riding has been on local back roads, which are chip seal with good sweeping turns and lots of cattle guards.

The combination of the new frame and these suspension upgrades have made this the most stable and enjoyable H-D that  I  rode. I also have a Buell with Works suspension upgraded to my weight and specs. While the H-d could not possibly feel as planted or nimble as the Buell, the difference is a lot less than before the H-D upgrades. I view this as money well spent.

I obviously cannot compare my current set-up with Bitubo and Traxxions, but I am a happy camper so far ;D.

I think this is the way I will go on my 03 flhrsei2 and 2009 fltrse3  unless someone has a more cost effective approach to improving the ride

Will these work on 2004 SEEG? I know that the progressives will raise it up an inch. Thanks.

Just ordered a set for my CVO Road Glide 09, have installed rear 13" 440'sHeavy Duty, hope to find it is a match set for handling without the Traxxion step. May get what I am paying for; however will post my reaction to the handling at a later date when I can get a few miles.

So, we can install the stock set from Progressive or do we wait for the -1" set for the CVO's?

I also ordered my set from Phatperfromance. Installation was pretty simple. Haven't been able to take it for a ride yet. Winter here still. I ordered the standard height and had no problems.

i will let every one know my opinion as soon as the snow  melts  i got 2 sets today from HD Dude which i thought was a good enough deal plus it kinda keeps the money in house 1 set for Kennys ultra and my Road Glide.

Taking my bike out this morning to have them put one. Still won't be able to ride for 1+ months though. But I'll be ready.
