I have a 2013 CVO Road King.  I would like to keep my Iphone/android phone in my pocket and blue tooth Pandora through the sound system via the Iphone/Android.  It would be even better if the bike powered the blue tooth device.  Is there something that plugs into the Apple adapter?

I bought one of these. The link is for the newer version. Looks like the one I have was replaced. Mine works okay, but there is a slight clicking sound at low volume. Once I'm on the road it goes away. Don't know about this one though. http://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Receiver-Adapter-Sounddock-Speaker/dp/B0094G44PS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1386551677&sr=8-1&keywords=Patuoxun

Thanks for your feedback,

I'll let you know in about a week. I ordered one from a company called Tenergy, They call it a "mini bluetooth audio receiver "

The Tenergy mini blue tooth adapter finally came.  It's about the size of an Ipod Nano and plugs into the Apple plug in your saddlebag.  I have an android type cell phone which paired without much hassle.   Once paired,  whatever sounds that would normally come out of your cell phone will now come out of the 4 speakers on the 2013 CVO road king.

Remember to crank the volume to the max on your cell phone to minimize background noise.  Despite doing  that, there is still a background hum/hiss that you can hear when there is low volume.  At any riding volume, it is mostly masked.  I tried Google maps and got turn by turn directions out of the speakers.  The only handlebar controls that function are the volume and mute
.
I plan on setting my cell phone to Pandora and leaving it in my pocket for the duration of the ride.  If you are a channel surfer, you may wish to consider a handlebar mount for your cell phone.    For around $23 bucks you can get a lot more out of the 2013 cvo road king sound system.

I have used the Tenergy Bluetooth receiver for a couple of rides.  It has two problems. The background hum that I reported before which is not too noticeable at speed and a second that is resulting in my return of the product.  It pairs easily but looses the pairing every time you turn the bike off.  It is a royal pain to go through the pairing process each time.  No automatic sensing of a previously paired device.  I still like the concept so I will try a different product.

You all need to invest in these.  You can hear your music at a decent level and save your eardrums at the same time.  Riding a motorcycle for more than 45 mins continuously, results in permanent ear damage.

Tried the MPOW same problem.  Wouldn't stay paired and annoying background hum. Returned to Amazon.  Just ordered  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GHUHMUS/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 again from Amazon.  Maybe. the third time will be the charm.  Will post the results.  Remember the object is to put Pandora thru the bikes stereo system via a cell phone.

Success! I purchased the following from Amazon and it works great.  There is no background hum and the device reconnects automatically when the bike is started.  I can leave my android based cell phone in my pocket and hear Pandora through the speakers.

CoolStream Duo. Bluetooth Music Receiver for iPhone Docking Station
$39.99 which is a little more than the other two that I had sent back.  For those that are interested the link is

Hey IROAR have you tried the 3.5 MM connection? I was thinking I could leave the IPod connected to the 30 pin and then switch back and forth from that to Pandora from the IPhone :nixweiss: That would be awesome :bananarock: Might even be able to get turn by turn directions over the speakers through the phone :nixweiss:

Just a quick question here.   On this one that would be plugged into the iPod connector,,, does it also need a cable to be plugged into the aux jack?    Thanks.

The 3.5 MM connection I was speaking of is on the Receiver that IROAR was talking about. I went to his link that he posted and saw it. From what I can tell from the website it looks like it will work plugged into the 30 pin connection or the 3.5 MM connection and does not need both. On the 2013 SERK there is a 30 pin connection and a 3.5 MM connection so you can use either type device and switch back and forth between them with a mode switch on the handlebar. So hopefully one would be able to plug the existing Ipod into the 30 pin connector and then The Bluetooth receiver into the 3.5 MM connector and switch between Pandora streaming from a phone and the ipod via the mode switch on the handlebar.

I suspect it will work using either connector; however, it will only recharge using the 20 pin Apple connector.  There is a rechargeable battery in the device that will run for about 5 hours without recharging.  It does not come with a charger.
