Thank all of you for the kind words of support. It was very hard to let go. We have a big emptyness right now and I am sure time will heal. And one day we will be united at the Rainbow bridge. Got the vet to take a pic just before I said solong to my best friend. I miss him already.

Terry, I understand the pain and sorrow you are having right now!  This situation has brought tears to my eyes and saddness to my heart.  I send prayers and condolences to you.  But remember the blessing is that Our best Friends are looking down on us and waiting at the Gates for when we come to Heaven to rejoin them for the Love and Attention and Good times to continue.  Be strong and remember to cherish the good times, cause those times will be once again when we all meet our buddies on the Rainbow Bridge.  Peace be to you my Brother!

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.  I feel your pain. We lost our Choc Lab Murphy 5 years back, he was only 3.

I've had Labs all my life and these guys are just so affectionate and warm. Just like children in many ways.

My heart is hurting for you guys. Terry and Karen I along with many others here have lost their best friends, we lost McGwire our Golden back in December and time does helps but he will always be in your hearts.

Terry and Karen, out thoughts and condolences go out to you on the loss of one of your babies.  It is always hard to lose a pet as they are never demanding and give unconditional love.  Time will heal the loss, but you'll always have the memories and joy he brought.
