Congratulations on picking up your new scoot! :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :pepper:

Do you have plans to change your transmission fluid to something besides Syn 3?

There have been some issues with finding neutral on new bikes. Some fixed with bleeding the clutch, some just got better the more you rode it, and some got better with a trans and primary fluids change which is what fixed mine. Changed to Redline trans fluid with shockproof and Redline primary fluid and all was resolved.

Congrats on picking up your new bike, but since you can't ride because of the weather...

Congratulations on big blue! :2vrolijk_21:

Hard to get into neutral.....I bled my clutch twice, the first day.  Jim bled it the following day for a long time.  Finally, all the air bubbles stopped and it slips into neutral now, easier than any bike that I've ever owned.

Yep, I thought the same thing.  But some of these guys are saying that's normal for the 110. :nixweiss:

There's a thread somewhere about S&S lifters with limiters.  I think it was by SBB.  His issue was a loud ticking at idle during initial startup.  I'll see if I can't find the thread to see if it addresses noises during normal operation.

Here is the thread:
S&S lifters and new pushrods for my 09 110

In the thread SBB mentions that this change stopped his cold startup issue and also quieted the motor during normal operation.

(Damn, DICKW too fast for me.  Same link as above :2vrolijk_21:)

Had the same "problem" with finding neutral. Changed my teqnique and works fine.

Try putting your heel on the shifter rod and toe under shirter. Gives better leverage until break in period. I run Syn 3 and have 5k miles and no problems.

Never bled MC or any other "fixes". Just put miles on it and everything is kosher...
