That road to Prudoe Bay can get a bit intense at times.  Especially if it has been raining much this year.

A funny thing happen to me on the way to the forum..... after planning this trip for two years, buying bikes, riding and camping gear, outfitting the bikes and getting Chris and Anne on board 1 1/2 years ago, my plans were thwarted by a carrier criminal who has been using my identity since the 80's. Confused and dazed as I've been to a few other countries pre 911 with no problems, we were politely escorted back to the US after being questioned for 1 1/2 hours. Upon entering the US I was mobilized from the others and grilled for a few more hours. As border patrol were gathering in numbers to haul me off to SingSing they lastly digitally fingerprinted me and Wallah...It was really me. Even I was a bit suppressed at this point. Needless to say, I can,t return to Canada without proof from our FBI and the Canadian consulate that I am indeed me.
At this point, Chris and Anne have resumed their trip now to Anchorage AK and we wish them a safe journey. We are roaming around the western US on back roads.

Damn Roger, that just bites. Now you are left to wander forever between the winds when you should be going north to Alaska. I just don't know what to say.

That sucks.....but I can relate.  :-\   I know you two will make the best of it.   By the way, ask Bonnie if we should send her cigars.

Look at the up side.......now the rest of us will have two journeys to follow.  Travel on wayward friends.....travel on! :2vrolijk_21:

Wow! Unbelievable!

You fit the profile of the stereotypical Canadian villain, the black clothing, Top Hat, cape, and twirling your long handlebar moustache.

Dudley Do-Right suspects that you might be Snidely Whiplash using an alias of "Roger"

I thought I recognized you from the Bullwinkle show.

I was hoping to see a picture of both Chris and Anne on their bike. Saw a pic of their shadow. Just wondering where she sat.
