Both of my bikes have been tuned, the 110" gets 42 mpg, almost always unless I get heavy handed.
The 103" is all over the place, 34mpg one time, next time was 39mpg, last one was 36mpg. Assuming the trip meter is accurate. I try to fill to the same level each time, and have traveled the same roads and tried to keep speed consistent. Maybe the 103" needs better cams/heads, as every bike I've upped the power on got better mileage. My 113" ( I miss it) did 43mpg on the interstates riding 2 up @ 80mph, and 47-49 on the 2 lanes @ 60mph riding solo. Since HD started installing gas gauges, I've owned 6 bikes, NONE of the gauges were/are accurate.

Agreed!  I hope the odometer is close and I just calculate based on the gallons I put in. Of course new engines have worse gas mileage until broken in. I generally don't see big swings just differences that I can account for. Another factor I have noticed is the measure of gas put into the tank. I can take a 5 gallon gas can to a gas station and sometimes I will put in almost 6 gallons other times 5.2 gallons.  In all cases the amount of gas put in is more than the tank can physically hold. I noticed that when filling up my truck. 26 gallon tank and one time it was real low I put in 27 gallons. Humm?  I have a suspicion I am getting charged for more gas than I am using. I just haven't taken the time to measure the exact amount of liquid a new gas can will actually hold. My point being you may not get the same gallons from one station to other either.

It's true you could not be getting what they pump says you are.  However its a real big risk for a gas station to have their pumps not be accurate.  They are inspected, and the inspections are annual and random.  They can be fined.  I would doubt they are off by more than a tenth of a gallon on a five gallon fill up.

:D Yea those have issues too. Speakers< I think are worse than the ones on my 2004. At least on that bike there was a procedure to increase the volume level of the factory amp. Wonder if that's possible with the new, not so "boom" box.

My GMR 113 is logging 46 mpg.  Mixed riding with city and 2 lane black top and not babying it much.

Gas quality is huge! I always look for a Shell or Sunoco to get best fuel. In Illinois corn is king, so every place just about has 10% ethanol in the fuel, a lot of them only have 91 or 92, so I've just learned to deal. Love the term "smileage"! My theory is, get to half on the gauge start looking, get to quarter on the gauge, look very hard.

Ride....... fuel up........ Repeat!!!!

Riding keeps me from shooting people.

I never though the mileage on my 13 SEUC was what H-D claimed. Did a 250 mile run Sunday, noting the fuel and miles. Averaged out to 37.75 mpg with some interstate at 75 mph and some through towns/country at varied speeds. Engine is stock with modified exhaust.

My mileage is terrible on my new 2015 CVO Limited.  Added Rinehart True Duals and Slip Ons and a canned Power Commander V map.  Hopefully once I get it dyno tuned I can eliminated the popping on deceleration and get better fuel mileage

I get good mileage in 5th  but better if using 6th over drive gear.
It's almost 50 when cruising between 75 to 80. This is on a 111"
Motor with a carb.
