Sorry I can't remember who you got the faring from.  Do you know if the HD leather bra fits the Hoppe faring?  My faring is being delivered tomorrow so hopefully I should be able to get it sorted quite soon.

There are 2 switches behind the headlamp chrome housing on the SERK3, one is for passing lamps, does anyone know whether or how to wire the faring nto the other switch?

the fairing on mine is the Hoppe Quadzilla.  the bra fit great.
wiring the fairing was easy.  there is a plug attached to the bottom of the fairing that unscrews real easy. I loosened up the front tank bolts, and removed the back one.  tilted the tank up a little,   took some automotive wire,  fed it from the back to the front, on the right side of tank, next to the harness.  when it got to the front,  I taped it to the Hoppe power cord,  and slowly pulled it through.  because the alarm would go off every time I tried to loosen the positive bolt,,, I just left the ignition turned on till I had all the wires connected.  took total of maybe an hour.

I saw the Quadzilla at what I assume was the Hoppe booth in Knoxville (at the Club HOG event).  They quoted me about $1,500 (give or take $100 - I don't remember the exact price quoted).  Is that about right?  Do any sources discount?

I have just purchased direct from John at Hoppe industries and I asked about discounts for our group and he wasn't up for it.  However he would possibly negotiate a free extra or something.  $1500 is the price and depending what you get done the price goes up.

I took the lot and including postage ($500) to the UK it cost $2800.  But you can chrome the speakers, upgrade the radio, add IPOD connectors etc.
I hope it helps with your choice.

I appreciate the info!  Do they offer chrome on the mounting brackets?  The units that I saw looked like Aluminum and they were not very well finished.
