The Hoppeindustries "Quadzilla" really is a great fairing. And the detail and accessory packages are excellent. After doing my homework on them, I have decided it is going to be my winter project.

Do you mind offering info on your painter?  The paint looks great in the photos.  How did he match up with the flames on the bike?  Did he do the leaf?

Thanks, it is even better up close.

No problem....His name is Jeff McDonald and is the owner of JAM Customs in West Palm Beach Florida...561-681-6544.

He hand painted the stripes after takling some photos of the bike and the leafing is pewter applied by our other local guru, Chuck Llewellyn, a striper and leaf master.  The leafed flames were coated in a candie green...They nailed it, even the black ice and marbilized inserts.  I gave him the job after he repaired a chameleon painted tank for my wife, thats a tough fix but he did it.  He also applied the flames as I asked him to copy the front fender flames to the fairing and the tank flames to the bags.

You have to look very closely at certain angles to tell it is hand applied (they don't stand up off the surface like the factory).  Jeff is a straight up guy, not the fastest nor cheapest but one of the best in this part of the country, his work has been on lots of biker magazine covers.  `

and another.  pretty sure I'm going to stay with the leather bra look.  matches well with everything

Sorry I can't remember who you got the faring from.  Do you know if the HD leather bra fits the Hoppe faring?  My faring is being delivered tomorrow so hopefully I should be able to get it sorted quite soon.

There are 2 switches behind the headlamp chrome housing on the SERK3, one is for passing lamps, does anyone know whether or how to wire the faring nto the other switch?

The paint on the fairing and bags looks great.  I just sort of like the leather bags, but your hard bags just look like they belong on the bike.  I've got a local guy that painted my V-Rod (photo below) and I might have to check with him.  I'm not sure how I'd do business long distance with your guy.  I appreciate the info!!!

Thanks...I had to have the larger locking bags, I could not adjust to the leather.  That V looks great.  I am sure he would be up for it...those guys are great, I never ask how long or how much and usually get good results.  It did take about 2 months and over 1k to finish!  Check out the last paint project(Jeff didn't do this one, due to the soldered tanks)

Jeff can do the mail thing, you'd just have to include pics and details about what you want before sending parts.  He even scored those hard bags for me because the ebay thing gace me a migraine...Best of luck with whatever you choose.
