i never had a leak in my gauge or have it fog up,,i juz couldn't see the needle on the gauge while riding very easily. I changed to a led fuel gauge  http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524448767138&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302290763&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302290763&bmUID=1109990086973&bmLocale=en_US  And i'll say i like it much better,,there are many to choose from   [smiley=laugh.gif]

It was 54 degrees downstate in Illinois, so I went for a fifty mile ride until I noticed a piece of metal sticking out of my rear tire. Less than 2000 miles and ruined.
