will the GPS record speed on the boat?

It will record speed anywhere it can "see" 2 or 3 satellites. Even in the window of a 737 coming back from Vegas.

Just taking up room in the attached garage.
Waiting on spring and water (rain)
It's ready, I just don't like cold water. (no matter how shallow it is)

This is probably a dumb question but (never stopped me before) will the GPS record speed on the boat?
Last time I took it out the speedo was bouncing between 80 and 100.

sorry Brian  :jack:
On my Garmin Quest2 I can change it to read Nautical (nm, kt, ft) or (nm, kt, m)
