that brace looks just like the one that is factory stock on my 79 flh 80 classic. how far has the moco came in 26 years?

Replaced the cable with the brace two years agon on my '03 Ultra.  Love it.  Very stable.  Hated the cable.  I plan on doing the same for both my chopped and king tour paks on my seeg.
