I used to really enjoy putting 2+ quarts of oil in them when they filled up with gas.  Spreading oil sorb after they pulled away kinda sucked.....

They were 2 cycle engines!

No, not two cycle. Just the pushrod tubes leak. Think Chevy and Moco had something in common? :nixweiss:

Porthole,
and just what was wrong with the Corvair?  That Monza convertible was cool.....still is.....just a few years before it's time.

I said it seemed like a good idea - not that something was wrong with it.

The corvair had it's problems, but after the rear suspension was redesigned it was a really neat car.

I sat on a bike at Americade that had the mount and it sucked, for the reasons already listed. Mostly that it forces you to look down to see the GPS, and since those with GPS' tend to play with them a little, it doesn't seem to be a good idea to be looking down, take your hand off the bar try and read the screen and then play with the buttons.

Good point, mine is Tech Mount and is easy to work with while riding. :2vrolijk_21:
