If I had to buy my SEUC again, knowing what I know about the 110's, I'd still buy it!!!  It is the best bike I've ever owned, and is a blast to ride.  I don't regret getting it and plan on keeping it for a long time.  I have the warranty (and ESP) so if anything does go wrong, it's covered.

You guys have been great.  I would be lying if I told you I wasn't going ahead and taking the plunge.  I love my '05 RK and cannot wait until I get on the SERK.  Ten more days and I will have my first 100 miles on it.  11 more days and I will have my first 500 miles on it.   ;D

If anyone is interested, Barnett HD of El Paso has 4 FLHRSE4 anniversary models sitting in their showroom. All looked brand new. Asked the saleman why so many and he told me they actively go out to other dealers and buy them up. Maybe they know something we don't?

I'm in Carlsbad NM tonight, was in tombstone last night and this morning for a while. Major dust and wind going across I-10 today. Really bad just outside El Paso TX. Bike ran all day at 85~90, even hit the big double zero a few times.

The ride is worth the wait.  Have fun, RufNek & don't forget to post some pics!

Get the bike! You will love it!!  My wife has the 2008 FLHRSE4 Serial #1390.  She has two other bikes..an '03 Dyna Low Rider and an '07 Sporty1200R...but not sure why at this point because she won't climb off of the SE4.  I don't think any of us will truly know if HD will formally acknowledge that some of the earlier 110 issues were resolved..that would be tacit recognition that the problems even existed.  Granted, she has only put 1500 miles on the bike in a month of ownership, but there have been none of the issues documented by others on this forum.  the EPA requirements have some back cylinder heat issues, but they were easily resolved by Vance & Hines true duals, their V&H FuelPak, and an Arlen Ness Big Sucker.  Kept the stock mufflers.  I think any combination of that type upgrade..most are documented on this site, will cool the motor dramatically.  Bottom Line: I personally believe that you will love the bike.

One more confirmation. Buy it !!
I enjoy the hell out of mine. Will I have problems with it ???? Of course --- if it has t*ts or tires you are bound to have some problems, ride them and fix them as required :)
