I hope you didn't see the one (not on Deadliest Catch)  where the "Windy Bay" sank and spilled 32,000 gallons of diesel. That was one to forget!

Crap!  A little more than an exedrin moment there...

Where id you get that picture? It looks like it was this May when we went from Seattle to Sitka. Have to keelhaul the crew if they don't touch up those rust spots!!!  Here is the one we are going to fish this year for King Crab, leaving Saturday for the Bering Sea.

It is a crop of a larger picture I have taken from the deck of another boat .......................

miker I am now repainting it to match Chip's SERG

She surely looks better than the original picture. The sea does terrible things to exposed metal. How are the electrolysis plates on the ship? :nixweiss: :2vrolijk_21:

Zincs buddy, no need to get fancy, simply call em zincs, or waster plates as some refer to em which is actually a good name because that's the whole intent of them - - to waste away so the expensive stuff doesn't. Now, if you want to get into something more expensive, a bit techinical and with electricity involved then we can offer you cathodic protection.

Actually, I think me, Magoo and a few other members would look pretty good on a ride that size.

The Gunbus or the girl?

Now that could get expensive, considering the generator involved to charge the entire hull to a negative charge.
The other way (zincs) is a whole lot less expensive. :2vrolijk_21:
