I am skeptical of my local dealer though. I just buy parts from them.  I do as much work as I can myself.

Hey maybe you can ask your neighbor what's up with the cam shoe deal? Since he is in R&D , I dont know if the issue has been resolved in 07 and later bikes. I will know if mine has "the problem" in a few more days as I am bout to crack her open.

My first comment was wrong.  I was confused with another buddy of mine that works in R&D at another company.
I think my buddy at harley works  as a line supervisor or something.  He still knows his stuff.  Not sure though if he knows the answer to your question.


UPDATE:  THINK I AM GOING TO KEEP THE BIKE ALSO.
