thank you.  i really like them too!  just got back from my first ride and i have to say the difference is amazing.  very happy with this decision.  they are damned loud but not obnoxiously so.  every car takes notice and i find myself communicating with them with throttle.  makes it easy to announce you are coming/nearby.  i see heads turning to look for me so i know its working.  i don't participate in the "loud pipes" debates but i am all about the cages knowing i am there and they definately do now. 

finally, thanks again for the tips.  i had already started wondering how i was going to get it to a shop to finish what i had started.  after getting enlightened it was comical how easy and fast everything went together.  here is one last shot so that anyone that finds themselves in the same boat as me can see what the open cleaned out exhaust port should look like.
