By the way JW I always like the pictures under your name.  I liked the rasta hat - I wanted to borrow it :)  The dog (I think that is what it was) was hilarious!

That's me.  Taken at my daughters high school graduation party, summer 07.  I'm putting it pack.  Hat came from a costume shop 2006.

T-mac

The jiffy stand is the side stand on the bike.  First I tried leveling the bike by using a 2 X 4 under that, but it tipped too easily.  Worked ok, but did not want to risk knocking the bike over.

Now I use one of these from Harbor Freight:

$59 on sale.  I park the bikes on these in the garage.

Word of caution:  Harbor Freight makes a lower cost self closing wheel chock for $39.95.  Most of these are silver in color. If you have a heavy touring bike - STAY AWAY from these!  Had the SEULTRA on one in the garage & it bent.  Bike did not fall all the way over but it still hit the wife's car.  Took it back & swapped for the version pictured here.  Much sturdier.

Thanks for the info Bro!  I almost bought a center stand at HD for $329 yesterday but just couldn't really decide when I would use it.  I have enough room in my garage to have the bike on the kickstand.  I have a bike jack but it is kinda a hassle to jack the bike up everytime I would want to change the tourpak.  This would also make it much easier and simplier to clean the bike and I LIKE the price it's not even a Hundred Dollar - HD - ;D
