I just switched to a Solo seat since that is how most of my riding is done.

I had added the CVO backrest to my bike and found the seat much more comfortable.   So here is the shameless self promotion - i am selling the 2009 CVO backrest and have just posted it in the "for sale" section.    Regardless of whether you buy mine or not, i think you will find that you get much more support and comfort when you add the backrest to your seat.

Mods - i apologize in advance if this violates some rule.

I've had three prior Corbins, and for the most part I liked them. One of those purchases didn't fit properly and it was a real hassle getting it done right (they do not have a refund policy). I still can't get a straight answer out of these folks with regards to an 09 SERG fit. If they can't understand the model terminology that is their problem, not mine. The new tour bikes have the larger rear wheel and likely a bigger radius rear fender. The solo seats probably won' be a problem . But, I am not so sure about the dual tour seats which will have to span the longer radius fender. Recently I purchased a Mustang tour seat, they have issued their dual tour for 09s and will tell you the 08 touring seat will not fit the 09s.
I like the new Mustang Seat a lot even though it sets me further forward an inch and that much higher. I have purchased an Ostrich skin and I will recover the Mustand seat, but I will likely cup out the foam a bit like the Corbins in my past.
Will post pictures when complete. The Mustang is roughly half the price of the Corbin which leaves me room to play.
Just my honest opinion, I could be wrong; it wouldn't be the first time.
