what seat are people using, is the stock seat comfortable ?

I think the seat is fine but am used to the SE seat.  But see here:

Just got back from a 4 day trip and 2 hours into it my a$$ was hurting.  Henderson Nev my wife made me buy a new seat.   Got a Sundowner.  A$$ is much better now!

I am riding a Mustang Tour seat, so far very nice...

Got the HD bar and passenger back rest to match..

No some folks don't like it but the BSR and I like it. Took the long way to Milwaukee and no complaints other than I've got to get the rider's backrest adjusted aft.

X2, inquiring minds would like to know.

I have a mustang on solo on my fatboy.  It moved me up a little about 1 inch and forward about an inche.  I hoep it is not the same on the SERG

I'm 6", had a Mustang on my 04 EG rode it 68,000 miles, sold it to a firend, it still looked brand new. My position with the new solo for the road glide is good, Mustang even put a small leather piece under the front so seat material would not rub, fit & finish top notch. Back rest is adjustable in both forwards & back and in height.
