Congrats on your new ride...

I remember the first time I rode my GL1800... I took it easy for the first little while, and then fnally decided to give the throttle a twist and see what she'd do. DAMN! I think the front time came off the ground a bit and the only thing that kept me on the bike was the vinyl I sucked up my backside!

Can't wait to do the same on my SERG!

Congrats on the new scoot. As for the loud pipes I like some sound to keep the cagers aware of where I'm at. But that's a pesonal choice. As for the heated equipment I recently bought a full set of Gerbings (heated clothes). They're the chit. Never had the heated equipment on the bike though. Good luck with he new scoot.

Congrats, you'll totally love it!  I have had the same issues with my grips not heating up but the seat will really warm the buns!  I installed V&H oval slip ons and really like the deep rumble and it's not too loud.  The other day I heard the new Monster Ovals and they are really sweet sounding, even more of a deep rumble and not quite as loud although a bit pricey (around $800).

I just got the ovals today from ebay and will probably put them on and try them out next week.  The Thunderheader 2 in to 1 is way too loud.  Glad to hear yours sounds good, and I think I will like it as well.  Are you running the stock header pipes?

Yes, I'm running stock headers.  Thought about going to V & H tru duals but decided not to.  Mine's all stock except changed out the air cleaner and had PC installed and tuned.  I also added Kury Panacea rear LEDs.

From your photo, we have the same bike essentially. I can't wait to start riding it.  I am thinking about the Glare detailing products, any thoughts on your end?  I am also going to do the George Anderson relocation kit.

You have great taste!   I have not used the Glare products, from what I've heard you won't be disappointed.

did you get a 2007 or was it a fat finger thing? i just took delivery on an 09 ruby red SEEG4. i traded in my 05 SEEG2, for it. the deal they made me, i couldn't walk away from. they dropped 1K off of the MSRP and gave me good money for my bike. the dealership had only sold 2 bikes in the month of January. to say they were hungry, would be an understatement. before i took delivery, i changed the slip ons and installed RUSH mufflers. still not liking the sound. i talked with a guy this past weekend, with an 09 RK and he installed the complete RHINEHART true duals, without the bungs, because he used a power commander. after all the changes i made to my last SEEG, i swore this time to leave it alone. any ideas on making it sound a little throatier? if i wanted a gold wing, i would have bought one!

I am going to post a new thread with the exhaust options I came up with, check it out.

That would be a SEUC......they only made SEEGs in 04 and 05.  But that red SEUC is a beautiful motorcycle for sure! :2vrolijk_21:

You might take a look at the Bub 7 slip ons if you're keeping your stock header.
