Yes these head pipes are Stainless Steel and Ceramic coated inside and out. You do use the stock heat shields.

Hey,

Save yourself some heartache and confusion. Sound is personal, go spend some time at a rally or HD store and pick a sound and pipe that you like best. None of us will admit that something else sounds better after spending $1,000.00 for an exhaust system. Another thing, do you want to get by cheap $600, by just adding mufflers, a full system true dual, or a 2-1 more performance based. Save yourself some money and take your time!!! Good Luck, lot of good choices.
