Thanks Doc.  That looks great.  I have two questions:

1.  Why didn't you put that steel braid on the black hoses when you moved them?
2.  How hot does this motor get, before this mod?

Thanks again!

They are replacing the transmission and inner primary which let go on me about two weeks ago.

So what do you mean "LET GO" what happened to these & at what mileage???

Also I really think that is a great mod.  but it's not something I want to try.

I think the black lines goe better to hide them with the bike, Before the engine guard cooler on 80* Days the tank temp would get to 250* now runs at 230* all day. Takes alot longer to heat up in traffic also.  Doc

1,800 miles it statred make a tapping sound in the primary also when hot on the right side of the bike you could hear it. They replaced the Comp sprocket, primary chain and clutch pk complete, then are it got hot , only could hear the rap from the trans. HD MOCO wanted the trans back. So have been waiting for a new one for two weeks now. Hope to get it out of the shop by weeks end.  Doc

Thanks Doc!  I was aking about the temps because I have heard of some of these 110's have gotten over 300 in warm weather riding.  I was hoping the addition of an oil cooler would bring that down.  If I remember correctly, you are catless with a fulsac core?  That mod should also bring down the temps?  Are you running Syn3?  I usually run Amzoil myself.

Have the Full Sac 2.25" cores and still have the cats in with no tune yet. I know when I am finished this bike on hot days should stay in the 220* range as have my other bikes done like this. Just got innterupted with the trans issue on my bike.  Doc

Did you route the black rubber oil lines through the engine guard ?
or did you dock the black rubber oil lines and routed the oil through the engine guard ?
