I have just taken my mufflers off to fit Fulsac 2" cores and guess what -There is no removable end cap on the stock muffler . They are a one piece construction with the baffle welded 360 degrees right at the rear of the pipe so there is no way that Fulsacs will fit.
I am not sure if this is just the European bikes or all 2009 CUSE4s. Maybe someone over in the USA can advise.
I am going to give Steve a ring to see what he thinks  because I ordered them to fit a 2009CUSE4 and he said they fit so the USA ones must have a different muffler.
Just wanted to let anyone else in Europe know that might be thinking of going down this path.

If you like the look of your stock mufflers, I believe Fullsac can modify them with their inserts. They have a jig to remove the stock cores, and weld in theirs. Give Steve a call and check their website.
I hope this helps.

Hey Trot
Sorry about the situation. I had no idea the overseas stuff was different. It appears your mufflers are very similar to our 96" mufflers. If a set of 07-09 96" mufflers can be located here, I will gladly recore them for half price to help out. Sound and performance will be identical to the CVOs.

My laughter comes when stuff comes up and its stuff we have gone over and over. most of the answers are in these threads.
Just hit me funny last night (tequila)
Trot, many of us knew that the mufflers where Diff overseas. and it has been discussed. Fullsac would not know this.
Ask Highjagger, he's been through it

Well I have only been a member of this forum for a short while and I certainly didnt know there was a difference and havent found a thread that tells me or I wouldnt have ordered the fullsacs and made a dick of myself. This is the first time I have played with a Harley myself, in the past I have always used the dealer and it is only the information on this forum that has given me the confidence to try.
Thankfully all the members on the forum have been extremely helpful and patient with me when I have asked stupid questions or have had problems with various things and have given me valuable advise and up to now no one has laughed.
All that does is make you not want to air your lack of knowledge on the forum.
Hopefully, in time, I will be as knowledgeable as some of you and hopefully the learning curve will not be too long or too expensive and hopefully one day I will be able to advise and help someone like me who is pretty clueless. I wont Laugh.

Sorry to hear about your problem.  I had some concern about the euro mufflers being incompatible with fullsacs.  Please review my post from 2/4/09 listed on your exhaust thread.  Let me know if I can do anything to help.

Hey Trot, after a LOT!!!!! of research installed fullsac 1.75inch baffles in my 08 FLHTCUSE3, best money I ever spent. My only caution would be to make sure a euro spec Harley has mufflers that are compatable with the fullsac, I am not certain what your bike comes with. If should need part numbers for the domestic muffler let me know and I will look them up for you.
