To go along with what TwoLaneRider said, I would check the connection at the sending unit also, it may be just loose enough at road speed to be intermittent and be fine at idle.

i did a search on their site and i believe # TS5005SB is the correct sensor. In any case if you take your bad one with you they will find the correct sensor for you. I think any auto parts should be able to do this. Cost around $12 bucks, over half saving from the Harley Parts store




Did a check with the local parts house and the cross referenced the Napa TS5005SB sensor as a temp sensor :nixweiss:

i never did find an automotive cross-ref. but i did replace the pressure switch ( H-D P/N 26561-99 ) this weekend no more flickering light. cost about $8

Good deal Neal. That was cheap enough. I would have thought it would have cost a lot more for the H/D part.
