Beleive me, you will notice a leak at the head/pipe gasket if there is one.  Heck, I hit the start button and at idle I could hear it, and boy you can feel it with the back of your hand.

I got mine on with help of good wife. No leaks. Back together with Fulsac baffles and re-map. Sounds Goooood.
Doobies were a very long time ago. I didn't know they were still around???????

  I've used Cometic exhaust gaskets in the past on another twin cam and they work better and are easier to install without damage.  I assume they are the same for the 09 SERG but I'll find out when I do mine.  I also thought they sealed better with less tightening of the flange bolts.  Of course I think they are a little more expensive, but not much.
