I was catching the left side emblem so I but a drop of superglue under it...problem solved.

What did that do.......fill the gap that was snagging you or is the emblem thin enough to bend and glue closer to the tank?  spyder

The emblem is thin enough to glue to the tank.  I put a drop behind the tips of the emblems and held a dow on them until they dried.  now when I clean the tank no snags.
