Stock lift is .5 for discussion purposes. Now you are at .650, .150 over. Uncorrected the rocker tip would not sweep the valve correctly with stock or roller rockers. This is fixed with the Pro Street head work and springs are used that can run there and control the valves. Some of what we do is proprietary and I don't want to get too detailed. Suffice it to say that if you don't set up the heads properly for cams such as these with this much lift they will lead a short life, not make good power and the motor will be very noisy. Also many heads, especially the shiny budget heads don't breath there, more specifically over about .525 lift so the benefit of a cam of this stature is wasted. It is a good cam and I don't want to sound negative, I am not. Give me a call and we can discuss a plan to make it work.
Thanks
