Harley knows their heated grips are (were) junk.  They should put a promotion in place to make the new style (if reliable) available to folks who have the old ones at a reduced price (free install (?)).  What think the chances of that are  :confused5:

ZERO (0), nada, zip....

From my experience if HD produces a piece of junk (seats come to mind) it is cheaper to them to just let us grip about them and for them to do nothing.

I like how you think

Candy, if HD gave a $25 credit to anyone for instances of failed heated grips you'd have enough banked to get a new bike.

If mine wern't under waqrranty all the time, I would change them out.  But HD justs keeps on replacing them.  Between my 07 and my 09 six sets.

Ouch.

I gave them one strike - then installed Heat Demons.  I'd rather have my bike then let them have my bike...   ???

 >:( >:( >:(

My dealer is pretty good about it.  I call them tell them they are out again and again and again.  They actually keep a set of the CVO 09 heated instock for those of that get pissed.  Pull one hour later drive off.

They like it because we buy stuff while we wait.

That's it, a new sales tool.
