I did take some before and after temperature readings of my '09 SEUC in factory stock and after Fullsac 1 3/4",  TTS Mastertune, Jet Coated Extreme Sterling coated non-cat header and "Ventilator" air cleaner. I used surface temperature thermocouples at the front and rear O2 bungs and at the middle of the cat location on the collector section of the header. All temperatures were lower after the changes, as was expected, but the readings at the cat location might demonstrate the effect of the ceramic coating(or might not). Before temps at the cat were from 957 deg F to 1041 deg F surface temp with reading from an IR scanner about 100 degrees less. After temps averaged 706 deg F surface with IR readings of 460 deg F. I am not an "expert" by any means and simply a curious motorhead with access to HVAC instruments. I'll let the pros out there add their valued opinions.

I used jet hot...it feels as if it did move latent heat away for better scavenging , did not reduce temperature dramatically.

biggest difference was getting rid of the cat.  the ceramic coating looks better and you can literally touch the pipes 10 minutes after you shut down the bike.  i swear I can feel a difference but it could be all in my head.

I used Jet-Hot also. I was very pleased with the service. You can touch the pipes 10 to 15 minutes after shut down. :nixweiss:
I did notice some reduction in heat. My Wife said she noticed a very big difference from her back seat postion.
So yes it was worth it.

Hoist,

I used the Jet-Hot Extreme Sterling coating on my head pipes.

I have also used Calico Coatings, in NC for internal ceramic and friction coatings. Never used them for exhaust, but their $120 price mentioned in an earlier post is very attractive when compared to Jet-Hot.
