That's good, Rooster.

I was going to say in my last post that "that extra heat sure comes in handy when it's 50 degrees and raining and you want someplace to heat up your hands after the grip warmers fail"  But I thought that would sound sarcastic rather than ironic to a CVO newbie!  (And, like a lot of other CVO owners my grip heaters failed after 1-1/2 years-they were great while they worked).

I have ridden a Fat Boy for years. I came across my 2007 CVO Ultra and WOW. Not ever going back. Added the A/C, D&D pipe and TTS Tune and in heaven now.
The only ugly is when I gotta quit riding for the day.  :2vrolijk_21:

Nope, wouldn't sound sarcastic at all. I've ridden in some pretty cold temps here lately...so that extra heat has been welcome. But, when July gets here I will probably have a very different opinion.  ;)

I've heard the same stories about heat (and every other nitpick) for the last several years.

I prefer to look at it as the pursuit of optimum results. Sometimes it is not what is written but left unsaid that speaks volumes.

In order to be concerned about the "Heat" two things come to mind. First in order for it to be an "issue" you have to be a rider not a couple hundred but thousands of miles per year.

Second you have to love the machine you ride so that preventing premature failures by reversing politically induced build requirements is a priority.

Ride a rented 96 in Vegas in July when the pavements 120* I'm sure you'll be amply aware of the post 2007 rewards of government intervention?

Most importantly RIDE rain, shine, heat, or cold. Just RIDE its good for the soul :2vrolijk_21:
