a friend got his FLHTCUSE4 in August, due to undrained clutch put it against his garage door the second day. Not only scraped fairing - the frame took a hit. So his bike was in for new frame, new fairing (not the slightest problem with dealer or H-D Germany

).
Before delivery in August ABS got reprogrammed, beltguard fix done, everything so far so well. But when the bike got disassembled in January for the frame job it was found the beltguard had moved a little so the drain hole was partly covered. A considerable amount of rusty water was found in swingarm - rust had already blocked the drain hole. The bike got only some 2.000 m on the clock due to above mentioned mishaps. Everybody was quite shocked. So this time Swingarm got drained, cleaned up with anti-corrosives and sealed. This will be done with all 09-touring-models with this dealer from now on.
As my bike was in the shop for cat removal the same time, it got thoroughly inspected - but was found dry and clean despite having 8.000 m on clock (and some of them in really nasty rain). Got the same treatment however, just to be shure.
