Ignition switch

On my 2010 SE Ultra. I just got her home on Sat. and Tonight I was checking things out and I locked the front forks with the key and I went unlock and when I turned it the whole knob popped up a coupkle of inches. I canot get it to lock back down it place.  The bad thing is that the forks are still in the locked position.  I have tryed for 2 hours to get it back on ..  Does anyone have any idea's?????  I am going to call my dealer in the morning to see if they make house calls. Im over a hour from them.  I cannot think of anyway I could get it loaded on a trailer with the front end locked.....  It has not been a good night!!!!! :-\ :o :(
