I'm with you Ray, when I go for a ride I would much rather smell cows than cars. Wife and I were over your way first week on October last year, near North Conway. The most vivid fall foliage that we have seen anywhere! The locals said it was the best in over 10 years. This is going to be an annual instead of Vermont.

Buy the Wing and ride to Boston for lunch.  Call all your sons and tell them WHERE you are.  Then ride back home and be sitting at the dinner table for dinner.  Invite them over and ask them "Who's da man now?"   OF course, I'd have to slap the chit out of all of them for saying chit like that.  How many of their friend's dads ride period??

When I bought one at one heck of a deal, less than $6K for a loaded 01, not only were my kids in shock 99% of my freinds considered me to have gone crazy, not one would ride it.  Changed ther minds about my craziness when I sold it for $10,500.00.  They are a great money maker if you are in the right place at the right time.  I have owned two and have cleared over 7k profit in the short time I owned them, rode the crap out of them in the meantime.

Chains you have a point there, all of a sudden a few Wings have surfaced on Craig's List in my small state and the 06"s and 07's are $17,000. +.  Word is getting out that they will be hard to find and the prices will stay up there. Nothing wrong with making a few bucks on whatever you can make a profit on.  I plan to keep my eyes open as the season winds down, but I will test drive the Concours and the BMW again so I know what I will be looking for. Looks like the SERK will require rebuilding very soon. I hope to nurse this until its to cold to ride.  Concours too fast!  you are kidding right?

Concours is a super bike a few guys at work have them, they run great.  I just like to pick the Asian bikes up ride them a while and sell at a profit, puts a little extra cash in the kitty for when the CVO needs things.  BMW is another great one, never owned one but have looked at a few, the right one at the right price will come along and I will get it ride a while and sell.
