Confused.

Is the screen you are referring to "stock around the stock baffles", or is that something you added?

Also, I have always been under the impression that the less wrap in the can around the baffle, the louder the sound. You guys are saying that if I leave the stock wrap in and wrap the Fullsac baffle that would make it a little bit louder? I thought I was supposed to pull the stock baffle and wrap out and just insert the Fullsac baffle with nothing else in there. (havent done any of this yet- UPS coming tues)

Sorry, just want to make sure I do this right.

Kern,

The picture you see with the "screen" and some wrap is exactly what mine looked like when we removed the stock baffle. I think (think, I am way no expert here) that they way the holes are designed in the Fullsac baffles that if you wrap something tight right up against the FS baffle the exhaust flows more directly out the muffler itself with less obstruction thereby giving it a louder tone.

What he said!
I'm assuming you have stock CVO style mufflers and are doing the conversion to Fullsac baffles?
There is a thread here with ALL the details along with pictures if you do a search. I can't find it right now.
When you remove the stock core, you will see the screen and long-strand fiberglass wrap tight up against the inside of the muffler body.
Leave that alone, and just swap the cores.
Easy, once you do one.
