advice on handle bars
« on: May 25, 2011, 10:52:33 PM »

I bought my wife a 11 CVO Street Glide this year, she is about 5.5 feet tall and after watching her ride think i would like to look into different bars that come back a few inches but not up. I had installed Chubby Bar pull backs on her Deuce, they were nice bars. Anyone have any luck and pictures? Also am trying not to want to extend the hydraulic Clutch or Brake lines if possible.

Click on the link below.  It started out about a seat for shorter people but included handlebars.  There are links in that thread that shows my wife's street glide (no cable or wires needed).

A popular set of bars are the Wild 1 chubby 575.the give a 13" pullback vs the stock 9" ish. Uses the same wiring harness. The 1.25" bar looks great as well. Last, you'll need to install bar mount mirrors vas keeping the stock fairing mirrors as the new bars will obstruct vision but with bar mounts, the mirrors look good and you can see a lot since the bars are also wider than stock bars.
