I traded in an 08 SEUC on a new SERGU. The 08 Ultra had an SE Air Cleaner, V&H Monster Ovals, and TTS Mastertune. It was tuned a little rich. I haven't changed anything on the new Road Glide. The non-objective butt dyno feels that the Road Glide runs just as strong as the 08. The exhaust tone is a little tame, but the Monster Ovals used to resonate at cruise RPMs and got tiresome on long rides. The Road Glide feels hotter but I don't feel it on the right leg like most people complain about. In stop and go or when stopping to pay a toll, I feel it big time on the left calf from the primary cover. That's one of the problems with having short legs. Other than that, the Road Glide has much better wind management. The Road Glide is noticeably heavier than the Ultra and although I've asked the question in the forums, nobody has a good explanation of why the CVO Road Glide is so much heavier than a standard Road Glide Ultra than a CVO Ultra is over a standard Ultra. The good news is, in stock trim, the Road Glide is getting 5-6 mpg better than the Ultra.
