thought this was a tts vs SE pro super tuner thread
ohh well since you brought it up.
it seems about 50/50 from what I see. haven't googled it though.
just feed back from users. I have had three calls from guys wanting to go back to stock ECM and re-flash tune.
the crew at REV Performance are doing a hell of a job trying to rectify the issues some have had. flying in and making changes and such. got to hand it to them there. but when you design a system only you can adj. you have to be able to service that product if it isnt performing. there are a lot of happy users, but there are also some that cant seem to get it right.
hope it works out for them. competition is always a good thing for consumers!.
Sorry, didn't mean to hyjack the thread. I brought up EMS because I thought the system is a worthy comparison based on the reviews I've been reading on several forums. I have an EMS system but can't give a hands on opinion yet as I'm still in the midst of rebuilding one of Jims finest 131 race engines. Since they couldn't get it right after two attempts it's my turn.. That aside, my real concern is how the EMS holds up on the 'big performance engines' trying to get some leads I spent one morning googling the EMS reviews and was amazed with all the positive coments, and honestly I didn't find any negative coments, not a single one. I found a couple reviews I was after from users with the 120 and 131 inch engines. These guys stated the system was working great with one saying better than prior dyno tunes. Just the news I want to hear since I'll be on the same boat soon.
You stated that some EMS users youre aware of had some problems/issues with one guy switching back to his original system. It would be interesting to know exactly what issues these folks had?

this system is pretty new and gaining a lot of interest. A lot of folks like me measure based on what we read/learn from other folks.. As far as comparing TTS and SERT, TTS is a hands down winner. One might say that TTS and EMS are completely different systems, I disagree. They both accomplish the same thing, a good tune - one a manual process the other automatically and systematically while you ride. At the end of the day, it will be interesting to see where EMS goes and if they can keep up with Harley's never ending changes... Who knows,, maybe Harley will find a way to force their system upon us and these conversations will simply go away
