I'm not usually a big fan of what I consider to be "loud" colors, but the Citrus is a really nice looking bike, and the paint really pops on it out in the sunlight.  It would certainly be worth having first refusal rights...you might fall in love.  Not knocking any black bike, 'cause that's always a good color, but the Citrus and the Red are both hot colors, IMO.  Stand out in the crowd...
X2 agree with TC. X3 the world is full of black Harleys!

You know which way I vote!

I've had several black bikes... still have "Bertha" - our black '95 FLHTP that I love. But black bikes are everywhere, and a CVO should stand out from the crowd... in my opinion black bikes just don't. This time around I wanted a bright, "in your face' color. Can't tell you how much I love my Hot Citrus CVO SG. It really does glow in the sun!

You could buy the Citrus, and then if you decide later that it isn't the color you really want, you could probably get nearly all of your money back on it easily and then get the black. All of the CVO bikes seem to be in short supply right now... people are waiting months for them. I'd snatch that Citrus bike now, and deal with any change of heart regarding color later! Again, just my opinion...

Go for the black one.  Can't go wrong since it never goes out of style.  If flash is what you want go citrus.  If style is what you want... you get the picture.

:bananarock: apart from Harley's, look at the competition, these are nearly always either black or silver. So common
Harley is a brand (#3 in England), That = unique, stand out of the crowd look at me!
I took the 2011 RG Ultra, (a) because RG's are not normally sold in England and (b) I took the Red/Black nice and bright colour.
The other two options being Black/Grey, so like honda from a distance and Cream/Brown ugh. almost icecream man.

The better looking the bike, the easier to resell later.
Black may be too common for this.

Worth the wait, and even if they fail to arrive, one will be available somewhere else.
oh, and wait for 2012 reg now so close to end of season.

I'm a "little" bias on which color you should go for.  ;)  However I will say this; all of the SESGs this year are winners.  You won't go wrong getting any one of the three.  IMHO the order of preference, for me at least is:
1. Hot Citrus
2. Ruby Red
3. Black/Gray

I've seen two of the three in person (Citrus and Red), both beautiful bikes, but the Citrus "pops".

I had the same dilemma this year.  Could of waited for a black SESG or go with the Autumn Haze that was in stock.  The salesman is a friend so no pressure on the sale. But, like many here....his words were how many black Harleys do you see......their stock on the floor was 50% black.  The more I looked at it I love the color of the bike. Many people stop and compliment me onthe looks of the bike and I think the color has allot to do with it.  Do with the Citrus and you will have something that is set apart from the crowd.

I have a black diamond 2011 SESG love my bike. Its a s*** load of work to keep clean. Every spot of dust showed. I like the paint scem better on the 11's then the 12's. The only color I would trade it for would be the yellow on the SERG. Good luck on your choise.  My bike looks bad ass in the sun.

The world is full of black harleys.  How many citrus bikes have you seen?

Yes but how many GreyBlack FLHXSE3 glides are there? Maybe just over a 1000 by the end of the production run.
And black is faster.  :)
Whatever you choose, it will be what you want to ride
