You can put any parts you can get on a non-CVO bike... but it still doesn't make it a CVO. CVOs are born CVOs... with a CVO VIN. Can't just become one later, no matter what you add to it.

Kind of pisses me off that the MoCo has decided to make the CVO rear SG fender available for all bikes on the open market now. I guess the only thing CVOs have that's really special anymore is the 110 engine and the paint jobs...
 

The only thing new this year is that it's a "KIT".  Everything else has been available to anyone from almost any dealer for at least a year.

I have been contemplating making this mod to my '09 FLHX ever since I saw what JCZ did to Terri's '09 FLHX.  At this point, if I do it, I will probably use the Yaffe kit, as it looks WAY cleaner!
