Nothing new Grizzly.....it's what the MoCo does.  Sucks what they can via the CVO models then sucks what they can from others by selling to open market a few years later.  That's how they roll.

They'll sell a bunch of those right away and some CVO Ultra Classic owners will want that set up.  I believe Jon (Jonga on this forum) was the first on this forum to do it with his 10 SEUC.

You did a pretty close version with Terrie's.  ..   For awhile her bike had me fooled.    Very nice bike, good job

The MOCO does this chit with the fender ... Yet ya cant get the backlit console that was supposed to be there in the first place .. WOW , way to go Marketing Dept.. more happy CVO owners

Wasn't available to the open market then.  Got lucky and found somebody doing a trike conversion.  I thought that would be really unique but I guess that's gone now.  There'll be other Red Hot Sunglo 09 Street Glides running around looking the same.

You could always use the Street Glide rear fender trim with the lights in the bottom as I did on my '05 SEEG.

I had to wait a year because it was a restricted part from the '06 Street Glides, but after that I had no problem ordering all the necessary parts from my local dealer.  Then of course it was sent to my painter for colour matching.

Good luck with your project and make sure you post some pics when complete.

they list that part as "primed" . wonder if you can order it painted in a NoN-CVO paint color from the MoCo?
